May 2008 – The HGI makes three new documents available to the Broadband
arena: Parental control, Remote Access and Performance
Metrics. The HGI has recognized the need to have a
number of ‘guideline’ documents that give additional
background to the requirements specified by the HGI
Residential Profile. These documents are
designed to help service providers better understand
requirements when designing a Home Gateway in line with HGI
recommendations.
The documents are now available to download from the
website:

May 2008. Renaming of the HGI document
to the “Home Gateway Technical Requirements:
Residential Profile”.
The revised title change is now not only a precise
reflection of the document’s objectives, but also allows for
a more precise cross reference of it in other HGI documents.
