The MC is composed of Service Provider members of the HGI.

The coordination of the Work Programme and the results validation are both performed by the Management Committee (MC).

To retain membership on the MC, members have to meet minimum participation requirements. The MC’s primary role is to initiate new topics and manage the work progress leading to publication.

There are several ways for the MC to consider new projects. Typically, HGI members bring new work to the Business Group (BG), which after discussion will recommend new projects to the MC. Other working groups may also bring work to the MC. Finally, HGI members companies may also approach the MC to suggest new work items.

The MC also manages the ballot process for the publications' approval. This process is described in the Working Procedures and Statutes.
